· Target Audience Analysis. We work with organisations to target their mentoring programs to meet their business objectives. We will provide you with advice and benefits analysis for covering all staff, top talent, or specific professions (e.g. sales, finance, management, consulting, etc.).
· Mentor Identification. One of the key success factors in a mentoring program is the passion and interest from the mentor community. We will work with you to identify mentors who are best placed and most suited to contributing most to the program.
· Mentor Training. Training is provided to each nominated mentor in the program. The training will focus on providing the mentor with core mentoring skills, an understanding of the objectives of the client specific program, and the expectations placed upon them within the program.
· Communications Program. Regular communication is essential throughout a mentoring program. All participates will receive regular information through all three phases of the program. This will include informative reporting as well as face to face meetings around mentor matching, occurrence of mentor / mentee meetings, and satisfaction surveys.
· Mentor / Mentee Matches. It is critical to map mentees with well suited mentors. This needs to be done based on functional skill, experience level, personality, and personal style. · External Mentors. CareerSavant has a network of mentors from a variety of industries, business functions, and experience levels. · Program Management and Monitoring. Execution and follow through are critical to realisation of benefits in a mentoring program. A nominated program manager will provide regular updates on the status of the program, and critical actions or issues which need to be addressed for continued success.

While many organisations have systems in place, they are technology driven are focused on technical features and workflow - our program is focused on providing regular and quality feedback and collecting anonymous feedback to constantly keep the goals focused on enhancing individuals' careers, passion, and motivation. Mentor training is essential for all participants in a corporate mentoring program or for independent mentors in the CareerSavant network. Our course modules include the following: · Basics of Mentoring. This module is run over one day and is targeted at both mentors and mentees. It focuses on what is mentoring, the benefits of mentoring, mentoring vs. coaching, expectations of mentors and mentees, setting goals and strategies, informal agreements, motivational techniques, and management of the mentoring process. · Mentoring for Career Development. This module is run over one day and is targeted at mentors. It focuses on case studies and mentoring outcomes. Mentors are taken through an agenda about how to set up a mentoring agreement, how to structure their mentoring sessions, ways to discuss and set goals and to begin work on strategies for achieving the goals. Throughout the material examples of career goals and career progression are used from real mentoring situations. · Mentoring Skills. We appreciate the importance of this time to both the employee and employer. While many employees later recall an outplacement transition was the best thing in their career, it is often difficult to see this at the time. CareerSavant's outplacement mentoring program focuses on providing individuals either one on one mentoring or group based mentoring through an intensive period in the first three months after transition.
